Districts of Marseille France

The city of Marseille France is divided into 16 districts called "arrondissements".  Due to Marseille's large size and number of attractions, it is useful for visitors to be aware of these districts.  This enables one to focus on attractions, one district at a time.

In general, most popular tourist attractions can be found in arrondissements 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7.
